Nyanza Cricket Association held its elections mid April 2011.
- Mr. Gerald Omollo was elected Chairman
- Mr. Willis Oballa was elected Vise- Chairman
- Mrs. Evelyn Oginga was elected Secretary
- Mr. Derrick Inyanje was elected Treasurer
Earlier to begin with “Cricket Kenya” had conducted a cricket course in Kisumu late November last year by sending a development official. The schools involved were Kisumu Academy (both primary and secondary), Muslim secondary school and Kisumu Day secondary school.
Twenty-two Personnels attended the program mainly sports teachers and coaches

Ryan as you may be aware yourself, unformulated and unwritten, however cricket clubs have always been active in Kisumu, even in the East Africa times.
ReplyDeleteRecently clubs from Nyanza province such as the Kisumu “All Stars” are given invitations to play in the Rift Valley league, played over the 40-over format in Nakuru.
