Mr. Derrick Inyanje (Treasurer) “NCA” will accompany the South Nyanza sides for the Rift Valley “six a side championship” in Nakuru on the 25/06/2011. The teams are Kisumu Academy and [YSDAK], both teams were Winners and Runners-Up respectively in a similar championship organized in Kisumu last month.
The tournaments organized by the "RVCA" are the most competitive in the western Kenyan region and approved by the "CK". This tour should provide a good learning experience for the boys from the banks of Lake Victoria .
They will be able to gaze them self’s when they play against top Rift Valley sides like Greensteds School, Melvin Jones School, Menengai High School, St Joseph School, Harambee Schools, St. Andrews School Turi and Pembroke House School Gilgil. The young players will also get an opportunity to play on good wickets and well maintained outfields. They also can draw inspiration from the win in 2009.

*Kisumu academy play at 9Am.
*YSDK will play at 10.Am.
it is a good way of promoting cricket in kenya especially nyanza which helped us to interact with the international players and hopefully one day kenya will bring the world cup trophy home
