The office bearers of Nyanza cricket

A Brief Introduction on the office bearers who worked very hard to get the new body, functioning like a well oiled machine. 

Mr. Gerald Omollo Chairman is a social worker working with Youth Sports and Development Alliance of Kenya.

YSDAK has helped to keep children off the streets, teaches the importance of working together as a team, and gives the children self esteem through introducing sports such as volleyball and soccer in their communities. YSDAK wanted to introduce another sport to give the children more options and to possibly find something that they can personally excel at. So Mr. Gerald Omollo did a great job in brining cricket back to Nyanza

Derrick Inyanje, Treasurer is a Table tennis International, who represented Kenya in the Delhi 2010 commonwealth games, a completion that I saw closely. He is also the sports teacher at Kisumu Academy, His team, at all levels swept away with the trophies in the recently concluded cricket tournament in Kisumu.

Mrs. Evelyn Oginga Secretary is a teacher at St Theresa girl’s school and is working hard on improving girl's cricket in the Province.
